My Harry Potter tattoo! In love
#all the awards

What can I say? I got this tattoo for the same reason every other Potterhead seems to. The books meant a lot to me, and help me through a dark time. I wanted something that nobody else had (Like the dark mark, Deathly Hallows symbol, or Expecto Patronum). Not that those tattoos aren’t cool, but I wanted something special.
The tattoo itself says “All the difference in the world” with the iconic 3 stars from the HP books. :D
The quote comes from this passage: “It was, he thought, the difference between being dragged into the arena to face a battle to the death and walking into the arena with your head held high. Some people, perhaps, would say that there was little to choose between the two ways, but Dumbledore knew - and so do I, thought Harry, with a rush of fierce pride, and so did my parents - that there was all the difference in the world.” ~from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, page 512The tattoo was done in October at Tribal Rites in Longmont, Colorado.

Harry Potter has been a huge part of my life since I was little. I wanted something to remind me that no matter what happens in your life in the end everything will be ok. So what better way to do that with J.K. Rowling’s last words to us HP fans “all was well”.

My best friend and I got matching Harry Potter tattoos over the summer. It’s the flying key from the first book with the deathly hallows sign attached. They were done by Billy at Needlewurks in Saratoga Springs, NY. He did such a good job.
